Vision

We plan to be more than just a little hill country winery.  By the year 2008 we plan to have a full resort. Plans for new winery/fermenting room are underway. The new room will be much larger with plenty of room to accommodate our plans for increased wine production.

Another very exciting phase of our renovation is planting a new vineyard.  The new vineyard will be 5 acres to add to the 6.9 acres that was planted in 2000. Here we will grow syrah, sauvignon blanc, and more cabernet sauvignon. Cabernet Sauvignon is our most popular, award-winning wine and we look forward to being able to produce more bottles per year.

As for the tasting room, we are done with the construction of our new 3,000 sq foot deck for our customers to relax and have a glass of wine or two.  This deck was built without removing any mature living trees, because of this our tables are shaded and surrounded with natural beauty.

Next to the tasting room we have broken ground on a new pavilion/dance hall which will be available for special events.

We plan to build a flagstone walk with a wishing well and a bigger paved parking lot which will face the tasting room giving you the perfect view of the tasting room as well as the vineyard.

Last but not least, the final step in completing Woodrose is to build eight private cottages as well as a restaurant.  The best part about this is these buildings will all look out onto the new and existing vineyard.
