iisCART2000 MAIL OBJECT - METHODS

The mail object encapsulates the mail sending functionality.  Cart.Mail.x


AddAddress
Adds address to list of recipients.  Optional second parameter as name.

Cart.Mail.AddAddress "address@email.com", "Name"
 
AddAttachment (virtual path)
Adds attachment to the message as a virtual path.

Cart.Mail.Addattachment "/files/order.enc"
 
AddCC
Adds a carbon copy recipient.  Optional second parameter as name.

Cart.Mail.AddCC "address@email.com", "Name"
 
AddBCC
Adds a blind carbon copy recipient. 

Cart.Mail.AddBCC "address@email.com"
 
AddReplyTo
Sets reply to address.  Optional second parameter as name.

Cart.Mail.AddReplyTo "address@email.com", "Name"
 
Reset
Clears settings.

Cart.Mail.Reset
Send
Sends the message.

Cart.Mail.Send

 

iisCART MAIL OBJECT - PROPERTIES

Body
The mail messages body text. 

Cart.Mail.Body = "Hello, this is an email message"
 
From
The Address the mail is from.

Cart.Mail.From = "name@email.com"
 
FromName
The name of the sender.

Cart.Mail.FromName = "Name"
 
Host
The mail servers address / hostname.

Cart.Mail.Host = "mail.yourdomain.com"
 
IsHTML
Boolean, set to true if message is HTML rather than plain text.

Cart.Mail.IsHTML = True
 
Port
The port for the SMTP mail server.  Typically 25

Cart.Mail.Port = 25
 
Subject
The Mail messages subject.

Cart.Mail.Subject = "My message subject"
